I just watched "Under The Skin" on Netflix. It was one of a list of movies which will be taken off Netflix in July. The description I read sounded interesting to me. The main character (played by Scarlett Johansson) played a female alien who lures men (using sexual attraction) to their apparent deaths.
I know. Sounds awful and more than a little strange. However, there are a number of pieces which make this worth watching: 1) you see a lot of Scarlett Johansson, 2) there are a couple of motorcycle sequences in which her support team assists her alien character, and 3) the photography in Scotland is gorgeous, but, of course, it's Scotland so it's raining a lot.
It's more than a little weird, but the last 25 minutes pulls it all together.
Engage your willing suspension of disbelief and give it a try. Then, come back here and tell me what you thought...
Thanks - JG
