New Owner in Lakeland Florida!

2020 R1250RT in Lakeland. Manhattan Metallic. Commuting 80 miles/day -- it's the perfect bike for that, plus I plan some longer rides once the 94F/34C temps drop later this year. I love this bike.

Welcome from the coast of Kansas.

Are you a new rider, or simply new to BMWs? Either way, glad to have you aboard.

Thanks! Old rider, in experience, age, *and* looks! But this is my first BMW. I did keep my 2016 Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin.

Welcome from your city. Enjoy that nice ride. Where did you get it?

Mike, BMW of Orlando was the selling dealership, although a 2020 RT wasn't available locally. They found one in south Florida and it got trucked to my house and delivered to my driveway. Several BMW models are in short supply in Florida.

Welcome from Newfoundland, I have a KTM 640 Adventure which is very similar to you AT.

Skibum, I love my AT. The one thing it's not great at is long interstate miles at 90 MPH/145 KMH -- the thing the RT excels at.

Yeah, my interstate miles are only 120 kmh on the 640 but my R1100S would do 90 mph all day long.

Hinch and Skibum69... my MOA light is always on in Samson, AL. You ever come this way, you have a place to stay, park, wrench, gas, and eat. Hopefully I’ll see you at next years BMW NEF rally in Stark.
