Patching up dent and paint on gas tank - Black R75/5

Hey everyone, my 75/5 still has the original paint job on the tank (so people with knowledge keep telling me), although there is a spot on the right side under the emblem where a previous owner has tried to bondo a dent. It looked decent, but started to rust under the bondo. The bike has a good history (delivery and first inspection signed by Perry Buscheng in the original owners manual), so I rather would like to re-bondo the dent and keep the original paint and pinstriping.

My plan is to get the original black Glasurit paint, does anyone have any advice what I need to be aware of when applying the paint? Anything different as compared to applying acrylic enamel or lacquer from the auto store? I think that the area I will need to paint will be around 2x3 inches.

Thanks everyone!
