2004 R1150R ABS III gone... options?

    I have a nice 2004 R1150R with 8000 miles on it...
It is not my primary bike as I live in Vermont and go on gravel a lot with my F650GS.
The iABS (ABS III) I am told needs to be replace and rebuilds are not available in that style.
Not comfortable buying used but would consider it as I was quoted $2800 just for the part.

Any suggestions out there? I am a new member and am looking forward to future interactions here.

    Thanks

Try Module Masters. I believe that they are rebuilding them but have a long waiting list. Another option is to remove the ABS pump and to have regular bracks.
    Good luck.

I can personally attest to Module Masters. Within the last month I had to send my '99's ABSII off to them. I decided on the total rebuild option (cost about $45 each way in shipping from NH). I got the module back within the week turn around they advertise, to my surprise, the entire thing looked brand new. I mean factory new.

    Good luck.
