Thread: MOA April Edition Article of BMW Friendly take over of Harley Davidson

Thumbs down MOA April Edition Article of BMW Friendly take over of Harley Davidson

I am perplexed why an article by Bill Wiegand of BMW taking over HD was printed in the April 2020 edition? The headline suggest rumors have been circulating on line for the past month. Well here is a news flash; similar conjectures and rumors have been circulating for at least a decade (maybe longer). The article is pure fiction and it should have been stated so!

There were ample indications that it was an April Fool's joke.

Hey lock n load, time to drop the mag, eject chambered round and clean the scope. When aiming at any target best to have a full field of vision...and then focus. And I apologize if this represents your June's Fool's Joke. Besides that, Welcome to the asylum.

And don't take any of this personal....I'm just trying to reach 2,500 posts.

Are you telling me that article was not true?

    I have been telling everybody.

Sincerely - I thought his reference to Hans Gruber (Die Hard Movie) as "BMW Director of Acquisitions and Assumptions" was brilliant.

Just wondering if the executives at H-D thought it was as funny as Bill did? Bet there lawyers would think it was hilarious too as they sued the MOA and won the lawsuit .

If they thought they could win, they would have sued by now...the MOA and every other publication that takes the piss out of Harley. Thing is, their lawyers probably have a sense of humour, just like most of us.

I could be wrong, but doesn't Public Law 112-02, Section VII, Paragraph IV, Directives 7-4(c) and 7-5(a), refer directly to any and all protected classes of written word, speech, sign language, gesture, telepathy and beyond, which is cited as quantified April Foolery, either as to being common-sensical, abruptly recognizable and reasonably believable or unbelievable, henceforth non-litigation-able due to the old British Kingsy Law, also known as, Olly olly oxen free.

I’m sure most of us forgot about the Kingsy Law. We should all go back and study something useful.
