Help! 2006 K 1200 GT - parts

Anyone know where we might find the ignition plug from the wiring harness to the ignition module for our 2006 K1200 GT? OR a junked like model? Otherwise its just a pretty large paperweight.... Thanks Andy in Bentonville, AR 530-515-0424.

Are you referring to the connector that plugs into the ECU, the primary computer/controller on the bike? If so, that is probably only available as part of the wiring harness. You could check with Beemer Boneyard and see if they have a used harness available.

Another option might be http://www.rubbersideup.com/bmw/k-bikes/k1200gt-2006-2008. They are showing an engine electrical harness that may have the connector you need.

If that’s not the connector you are referring to, check the connector listings at https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/partgrp?id=0597-USA-03-2006-K44-BMW-K_1200_GT_0587,0597_&mg=61 and see if you find a match and a part number.

Best,
DeVern
