Lowering my bike!

Anyone one know if you can lower a 2015 K1600 GTLE? Had a new seat made (I Love it!) and it is now about 2.5" taller. Not impossible to ride but getting on and off is now an issue!!

Lowering

GARS on the K1600Fourm.com makes lowering links or you can change to Wilber shocks that can be setup to your riding style and height required.

If possible, you might find it much easier to take your seat to a local upholsterer and have it re-made to suit your needs (or send it back to the manufacturer and have them do it for you). There really is no reason for a seat to be made 2.5" higher, unless you specifically spec'd it for that.

Agreed, anything beyond changing the seat is a lot of work and will compromise the rest of the machine and cost more $$
