On my camhead RT, a good relationship with my local dealer's mechanics got them to set the reminder to something like 25,000 miles (Don't know the months since that wasn't a concern). BMW must have gotten wise to that and it's no longer possible to set like that. You can set custom limits with a GS911 but no longer than 12 months/6300 miles (tried that).
