I've been reading a few books lately on the F&I war. I'm not familiar with the geography of the north east, and the "Street View" in Google Maps shows some nice scenery. I was wondering if anyone up that way has put together a ride that hits various historic locations. I've been looking at doing something similar for the march to the Battle of King's Mountain, which is relatively close to me.

French and Indian War rides?

Wasn't King's Mountain a Revolutionary War battle?

Perhaps, our Canadian members will provide input on the sites in their country as this should be the series of conflicts (7-yrs war) that secured British rule in eastern Canada
You might consider following the Braddock Expedition route (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Braddock_Expedition).
It’s a nice area of the country that straddles the Eastern Continental Divide. I am not familiar with what all has been preserved or can still be seen, but I do know there is a national historic site there at Ft Necessity near the MD/PA state line.

You may want to check out the Kings Mountain National Military Park which is interesting if you like Revolutionary War history. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kings_Mountain_National_Military_Park
One of the monuments along the 1.5 trail lists the names of the officers and local militia who gave their lives for freedom against the British. This battle was a turning point during the war.
One of those local men was my 6x great grandfather. Out of 4 brothers, he was the only Patriot, the others remaining loyal to the King. During the battle (as it was documented in a few other books on the subject) that my grandfather and one of his brothers shot and killed each other. After the battle ended, their wives (now widows) came to collect and bury their menfolk.

Actually, the larger conflict...…...had Spain ceding Florida to the British and France ceding Louisiana to the Spanish. Of course, that all changed within 50~60-yrs.
