After thinking about it for many years and recently, I finally decided to take the plunge and buy a BMW. I now have new (to me) 2013 GS in my garage. I have been riding continuously over 20 years, and have owned 9 other bikes in that time. I'm thinking that this one will be the last, since I like it so much. I've been a member of several forums before, and know how helpful it is to be a member. I've been lurking on the forum doing research to help my buying decision, and I think this one is one of the best. I hope to meet some of you this year in John Day!

Congratulations on your new bike! I figure brand new or new to you is all the same with a motorcycle! I live in western Idaho and try to get to the Chief Joseph rally when I can, but unfortunately it's been cancelled for this year: https://www.bmwro.org/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_id=301799&module_id=172743 Maybe next year?
