ESA calibration

After getting new shocks back from EPM (Hyperpro) when I try to calibrate the ESA on my K1300GT for the front I get: "Negative response received from controller: conditions not correct or incorrect sequence of commands" and for the rear:Minimum pulse rate not reached at rear."
Anyone have any ideas?

I'll get the stupid questions out of the way...

1. Both shocks are plugged in with no bent pins in the harness?
2. No broken wires?
3. You set the ESA on "COMF" and preload on "One Helmet" before you removed them?
4. All fuses are good?
 
Engine running and in neutral as well?
Assuming your getting messages using a GS911? I haven’t needed to calibrate Wilbers using OEM motors, are these built using your original motor or a plug n play?

Call EPM if all other mentioned suggestions don’t help

I remember seeing this on both of our K1300S bikes.
If I remember right the calibration is for the preload of the rear shock.
The front does not have a preload adjustment.

"Yes" to all questions.
 
I was trying to show it's normal to get the front error message since the front shock does not have a preload adjustment.

If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will let me know :)
