Question Looking for torque information for R1150RT oil cooler line

    Hi,

Yesterday I found the source of an oil leak on my 2004 BMW R1150RT. The connection where the oil line connects to the left side of the engine block was leaking. The bolt that connects the oil line to the block was a bit loose, I tightened it and the leak stopped. I'm wondering if I need to torque the connection to prevent this from happening again.

Any advice will be gladly accepted.

    Thanks,

    Joe

Thank you for the information! I'll be sure to torque it down before my next ride.
