1996 R1100RT Surging

On my 1996 R1100RT it has always run nice and smooth except for the slight surging. The more I rode it the more the little surging and off idle stumble bugged me. I did a full tune-up, adjusted lifters, synced throttle bodies, changed plugs, fixed the Hall sensor wiring and removed and cleaned the injectors, which were really dirty. Also replaced the battery and cleaned grounds just because it was a good ideal. All of this made a slight improvement. After lots of reading about the AF XIED CO2 upgrade, I installed it this winter. Really easy. Since I live in Minnesota I didn't get a chance to test ride it until a week ago. WOW! What an immense improvement. Not only does it not surge and of- idle stumble, it idles smoother, runs much smoother at low and mid speed plus it has significant quicker throttle response and power at low and mid-range. I had hoped it would be better, as many have commented that have done this upgrade, but was really surprised at how much better. So, really looking forward to more smooth riding as our Minnesota weather improves.
