R1200 rt Brake pad replacement

2wheeler

High Planes Drifter
hi I am replacing my front brake pads with EBC Fa 335HH pads. The ones that were on were oem I think. They have thin metal shim backplates attached. The EBC ones do not.I called the place where i bought them and they could not tell me if a shim plate was needed. It does not appear that the others could be removed to be used again. Also is there a specific orientation for these pads ? This would be a great help if any body is familiar with them,I see Paul Glaves and others like the pads.
Thanks and everybody stay well.

Now that sports looks cancelled I talked to my
wife.......She seems nice :)

The shims are not needed. And yes, I like and use EBC HH pads.
