Trailering an RT

Having a ramp wide enough to put your feet down if necessary is very nice. Having a full width ramp is even nicer.

We now have an Iron Horse brand two-bike trailer. It is aluminum framed with a fiber glass body and tilt up top.

Those are nice because of very little wind resistance compared to most enclosed trailers.
What do you use to pull it?

I have an '04 Chevy Colorado I pull the trailer with. We also just bought a Roadtrek camper van with a Dodge 3500 chassis and 360 engine. It will pull it just fine. :)

I was going to flip it but said WTH. You and Debbie have to come back to Texas so we can hit Opie's BBQ again.

** Fixed it **

I'm having brain fade (it happens a lot :) )
I can't remember stopping at Opie's on the ride that day.

Seems like you rescue Chuck a lot :rofl

More than others for sure!

Funny side story was another bud who rode up finding Chuck on the side of road on his keyless Wethead and stopping. Much to his amusement, he had swapped jackets in his garage and rode away without fob. When he tried to restart, realized his dilemma. Luckily called another bud to retrieve his fob and rescue him as I
only had one spot. His spare key was in other jacket as well.

Our rescue rig I used Tuesday and just as I had a loaner tied down ready to roll, Chuck calls
asking which trailer I was bringing and told me about Mr NoKey:scratch

Chucks trailer that has lived here for a bit... I just put tires and packed bearings on this weekend that will hold two full sized bikes or three dirt bikes...I sure didn’t want to unload and load! They came up with a better for me plan B and called for fob delivery.

The TANK

I have an old steel and wood trailer Wheel Chock from Harbor Freight. Ramp lifts up and locks.
Find a used flat bed trailer. Screw the new full price...go for used
