Does any one know of a locking system for my 2018 r1200 rt Navigaion VI. I see oldtimers has one. Has anyone tried it and does anyone sell it in the us?

This thread does need to be relocated. Individuals new to BMW motorcycles and this forum sometimes fail to realize the distinction between airheads, oilheads, wetheads, k-bikes, etc.

I think the topic of locking the gps to an R1200RTW has come up before. Here are some links that I found -

I elected to not install one of the available modification options on my 2018 R1200RTW. Rather I just remove the gps from the cradle when in a questionable area.

I've installed the Oldtimers on my 2018 RT. It works great. I bought mine directly from Oldtimers. I gave the information to the dealer that I bought my bike from so he could start selling them. I'm not sure if he ever did. You may want to try him .

Out of curiosity what does the kit cost.
I only looked at the video to see how it worked.
Looked good.

I show that my cost delivered was $174.58. The country of origin is Slovenia I believe.
