2012 K 1600 GTL has what appear to be auxiliary LED lights which run vertically on either side of the front of the fairing (see pics). I have seen lights like this on other 1600s though it appears that they are aftermarket. I have crawled over the bike 100 times to see if I could find a switch to activate these lights. NO LUCK. There is one switch which does not appear to be factory (see pics) However, the switch does nothing. Can anyone identify these lights and help me find out how to activate same? Any help would be much appreciated. Best, 3hawks. cannot find a way to attach recently saved pictures to this website Can anyone please tell me how the hell to do this??

Is he talking about the turn signals???

That's my guess.

My '14 GT has 'fog lights' protruding from the lower fairing; the switch is on the left hand-grip. Those vertical LEDs are simply fancy turn-signals that function as useful turn-illuminators Only At Night!

You'll need to purchase add-on Clearwater Lights if you really want more Xtra Brightness. Mrs-HSV added them to her GS and they're nearly blinding compared to the original H7 headlamp as she follows me in the dark...
