changing headlight bulbs

I have changed headlight bulbs on my 2009 RT and it is a real pain, today I found if I took off the side panels and removed the shroud around the speedo and tach (like 4 bolts) the shroud slides off and you can actually see what you are doing, like 100 times easier than working by feel in the dark. No damaged arms and fingers, no blood. Woody99

Or find a ten year old (+/- 3 years) with small nimble hands and the ability to follow instructions. Your way is probably easier to do.
