I have a1994 R1100 RS and would like to know if there are any trailer hitches that will fit on bike or any designs for one that would fit the bike?
Thanks in advance for all info.

Trailer Hitch

This is trailer I am getting F34A4D24-0B38-43F7-B99A-EF1FD5B9D3C1.jpg

The plan when I purchased trailer was to put a hitch on the R100/7.

I purchased the hitch for my 2018 RT. from Dale at Open Road Outfitters, I'm sure he can set you up with one plus a wiring harness. Nice looking trailer, have you pulled one with a bike before? How much cargo space?

15 cu.ft.
Never pulled a trailer with a bike before but have a friend who has the larger cm 2000 and he has pulled it thousands of miles and I am planning to absorb as much of his knowledge as I can.
Thanks for hitch tip will call Dale soon

Hitch

On my '98 R1100RT, I have a Unigo hitch. I assume it might work with your bike. :dunno

Thanks for info will check unigo site I assume unigo hitch could could be adapted to ball type this trailer 125 lb plus 200 lb cargo rating so would have to check that.
Thanks again for info

The answer to that I do not know, but a call to the Unigo distributor should be able to answer your question. In my case, I do not pull a Unigo and have a totally different hitch from either yours or Unigo's. Hence, the odds are good that it will work.

Unigo sells a part that will let you install a trailer ball on their hitch but you can make your own for a lot less. I made my adapter from a Curt Manufacturing 45028 ball mount by cutting off the top portion of the ball mount. That leaves a l-shaped piece that will bolt up to the Unigo hitch.

I have one for an R850R or R1100R...not sure if it will fit or not.
If I could get the picture to attach..
