1250 rt valve adjustment

Does anyone know how the valve adjustment procedure has been changed with the addition of the shift cam mechanism on the new engines.

I have not looked to see since I do not have one, but there surely must be a substantial change in the adjustment process given the changes to how the cams function.

I do not have his 1250 DVD but he posted pictures in the past.
From what I remember the valve check is the same as the R1200 LC and the valve adjustment was similar to the R1200 LC.

On the valve check there's not extra clearance measurements because you measure at the base of the cam.

I don't think there's a difference with regards to checking the clearance because the base curve (where the clearance is measured) is the same on both lobes. Actually adjusting them might be different as you have to remove the cams to change the shims but since they lift straight out and the actuator is a pin-in-slot arrangement I'm thinking that's not a factor.

Has anyone seen reports if Cam Timing is still incorrect from BMW as in the Wethead?

Since I corrected my 14R1200RT it starts on first try every time, not sure I've noticed anything else. It wasn't off much...
