Sparkling Storm Metallic...if you own this color how would you describe it?

Is it tobbaco brown or that plus a green tint in the paint? Considering getting a used one and may not get to see the color other then on a web page. If a brown color with metal flake I am good with that. If a lot of green tint then not so certain how I would like that effect.
    thank you

There's colors for everybody. In addition, everyone has a different perception of color. My Father was a bit colorblind and my Brother-in-law is completely colorblind.

I would describe it like this:

BMW's occasionally weird color choices, such as this one and "Manhattan metallic," often confuse me. Why not just go with variations of blue, red, black, and ivory? Correction: The Mars red color is still available for 2020 -- my dealer has one.

Yet another RT whose appearance would be greatly enhanced by color-matching all the black bits on the upper part of the front fairing. That’s an unattractive area on every RT I see on the dealer’s floor, for every color except maybe the Light White. IMHO, of course.

The Sparkling Storm Metallic is much nicer in real life than in the brochures.

    I like BMW's "brown" colours.

I have an RS in Bronze Metallic and it's quite fetching.

I see a hint of green in that there photo. Taking the old 05 r1200rt for brake fluid flash and alternator belt plus some new shows...GT5. Will get around to do the engine oil and trans oil at home later in a month or so. While back tire is off will have then change the rear end oil as well. They had a $150 off $300 spent coupon plus half off tire installs so figured best to do above. 3.5hrs to bleed the darn 05 servo brake system...ungodly.

They have an r1200rt there is that color so will look at it tomorrow. The used r1250rt got away but it was up in PA even though it was a great price and in this color as an Option 719. Running out of time to find a lightly used r1250rt or r1250gs so I could do 1.9% for 60. Will just keep the 05 probably.

    Find a real image

It's mostly brown metallic with a little green, haha. I like it. But you can never tell from promotional photos under studio lights. Best way is to locate a real image or video of the bike and color, preferably on a sunny day, like the following:

No wonder I so like his color choices! I still say Graugruen from the 2000s is gray-silver...

I've been driving a Graugruen 330i since 2006. It's blue-ish pale green or greenish pale blue. Thankfully, it isn't black or grey (silver).

When I take it in for oil changes or state inspection, the service guys usually comment on how rare it is to see a BMW which isn't white, black or grey

...though $1,400 later I will need to keep liking my 2005 model.
