    Experience with Craven Stubby Antenna?

Does anyone have experience with the Craven Stubby antenna from Amazon? Asking the forum as I am unsure I trust just the Amazon reviews - sometimes companies salt their reviews.

My searching didn't find any posts on this specific product. But I found other posts about other stubby antennas with some feedback:

FWIW, the most important part of any transmitting/receiving device is the antenna......and that usually means length. Physically shorter antennas are usually a winding of some sort.

Futaba is the usual German supplier for OE antennas. VW enthusiasts change theirs, too, and there are lots of choices.
