gas cap not latching

Turn the bike on. Turn it off. Pull up on the latching tab, push gas cap closed. You will need to do this (pull up on tab) every time you close the gas cap.

Had a gas cap replaced under warranty on my 2018 RT. Same reason after only 600 miles. No problems since at 19k miles.

What Harry said. I have to pull up on the tab and then push the cap until it clicks in every time. Not a big deal though.
