New R1200GSA Owner from SF Bay Area

Hello all!

A good friend is moving to the east coast and gave me an offer I could not refuse on his 2006 R1200GSA with 22K miles. :)

I'm very new to BMW's, my only previous experience on them was a S100RR that I rode as part of the California Superbike School training. Needless to say this is a very different beast!

I'm a bit confused by the lingo being used (my previous bikes have been Suzukis -- Vstroms and SV650s), so terms like Hexheads, etc. are unfamiliar to me.

Is the R1200GSA considered a Hexhead or a Camhead?
