Tire Plug Multi-tool

The tool is enticing. I am concened that its diminutive size may make it difficult to use; sometimes it takes quite a bit of force to ream a tire. Would need to try one to be certain.

Considering that the tool is the size of a folding carpenter knife, I'm not concerned about the handle being too small. My folding carpenter knife is nominally the same length as the Tee-handles on your typical gooey chord repair kit.

However, I swear, I've seen a simpler version of this multi-tool, some where..........

I think I've seen a simpler variant of this tool with only the rasp and insertion rod, but folding into a compact package.

Yesterday and today I Googled Folding Tire Plug Tool and didn't have any luck.

Yep. I wasn't having any luck either.

The RockyCreek tool is certainly cute and their compressor appears to be packaged better than the similar Aerostich offerings. Hmm.....

If only Ural would make one.

I bought the Rocky Creek tire tool. Used it to put a plug on the tire of my Miata, worked great on a auto tire so reaming a motorcycle tire should be a easier.
