FOUR new BMW models

Another video of the 4 new bikes.
The F900XR and R has bags like the R1200RS/R but the mount looks different. I see they also changed the bag mount on the S1000XR.
The F900XR/R bikes have two different bag options. One looks like a semi rigid bag.

Some pretty neat stuff. Have to hand it to BMW for some nice designs there.

I don't buy into the "experience driven brand" baloney. But I'm sure that has more to do with expensive marketing gurus than engineering.

These new +/-900cc parallel twins... Any word on whether these are a Lorcim engines built in China like the 850cc used in the F750/850GS models?

Some spec.F900XR and R

Weight XR 482lbs, R 465lbs, Fuel tank XR 4.0gal. ,R 3.4gal, Seat height XR 32.5" ,R 32" and HP 103 or 105.
Maybe bag mounts are magnets holds?:wave

Bmw of late come in three colors so what are they for the F900 XR,R and the S1000XR?
When will prices be announced?

One more thing factory says 57.5 m.p.g.:cry Still a chain drive.

You can probably bet on one thing with BMW. If the crankshaft is longitudinal (front-back) like a boxer you will find a shaft drive. If the crankshaft is transverse (side to side) you will find a chain or a belt. Those are the cost effective ways to connect the transmission to the wheel, to the tire, to the pavement.
