Interesting. Looked pretty precarious when the bike was 90% up and the jack was nearly slipping out...he was having to stand on the foot to prevent that. Would be kinda bad if that slipped out...to the bike and to the person.

Instructions mentioned keeping a foot on the base to prevent just that. There's a lot of reviews of this and the dirtnapper product [ very similar but less stout on the strap and ratchet ]. So far everyone has had good experiences using either of them.

They recommend practicing this at home before you actually need to use it in the wild.

Received the motobikejack, it's 15" total length in it's bag. Fits with a small microfiber over each end inside the BMW 30ltr soft top case. At 5" in diameter, it barely takes up any space in that bag.
