Valve covers 2013 R1200RT anniversary

Hi all had a double drop don’t ask.
Are the valve covers painted the darker shade of Gray ?
Are they Magnesium? Would love to try a repair small scratches and repaint.
Any help appreciated.

Pictures would help. Depending on the scratches you might just try a light sanding.

Sanding, or even body filler will work cover the deep ones if you are painting them

Thanks Scratches are not deep but will need light filling. Any ideas where you can buy a can of spray paint?

If the covers are the same silver as a lot of BMW wheels Wurth Silver Wheel Paint will work.
