Hand protection

I previously owned a '73 /5 and used a pair of hippo hands that worked very well. I only needed a light pair of gloves because of ambient temps. These do not work on my R1100RT because they block the mirrors. Anyone using something similar on a R1100RT?

Handlebar mounted mirrors.

What Paul said. I have handlebar mounted mirrors on my 96 RT and love them. I wanted them because when the bike was loaded I was having trouble seeing around all that stuff. I got mine from beemerbone yard but there are several places that sell them.
