Starting gremlins

The Blue Max
Have been experiencing minor electrical glitches last week. Other morning, rolled down driveway, turned on key, neither instrument cluster or lights came on. Turned it off, rocked in gear, back to neutral, it started but within a block, red warning light came on, turned around and took car to work. When starting, sometimes clicks at solenoid, then it starts. Battery is year old agm, connections all tight and clean, voltage at rest 12.5, down to 10 or so on starting, charges up to 14.5 running. Before tearing into it, relay or starter? Btw, mileage is 165K kms, this is a new wrinkle with an otherwise reliable bike. Oh, tank is full too.

AGM batteries are somewhat notorious for developing internal failures. Apparently the wiring between the cells cracks and causes failures that sound a lot like your problems.
