Help, stranded rider 2017 GS

After a fuel stop engine will crank but fuel pump does not engage and motor won’t start. Canbus has been reset, sidestand switch and engine cutoff switch checked, no joy. What’s the next item to check?

Thanks,
DG

Where are you stranded?

Not me, another rider on another list. Better chance here of getting usable suggestions, tho, as to what the issue might be.
Thx,
DG

The location helps in-case there's someone who lives close by.

A mechanic in Seattle showed Annie how to do what he called a “simple reset” when she was having TPS problems. If the bike has keyless ignition, then with the bike turned off push the ignition button four times with each push about one second apart (long enough for the bike to turn on/off). There should be an audible click after the 4th push. That’s all I got.

I've nothing to add but this would get more eyeballs if moved to the Wethead forum.
