Good 'ole liquid sunshine.
It seems like we may have passed you on the BRP that day.
We were in the Jeep and headed home from having a BBQ lunch in Waynesville. I remember saying that they need to take a pic of their bikes in front of the Highest Point sign and any BMWs out in that weather were headed to the rally.

The Streetmasters clinic was fun and I got a few tidbits to take away from it. The best part of my session was watching this border collie tagging along with dad.

I'll do a few of pre/post-Rally, because getting there and back is half the fun.
Final packing for 2nd leg of the trip to the Rally. 1st leg was attending the DownEast Rally put on by the BMW Riders of Suthern Maine at Hermit Island, Maine.
If you are able to make the time, you can plot a route that gives you great vistas to take in.
... and has more than enough turns for those of us who don't think we can get enough. ;-)
BMW Performance Center Enduro School - my mount - R1250GS (It was on the way, so what could I do???)
We had time to do 2-laps on the road course. ;-)
Boxer2valve moved their shop from CA to SC so I naturally had to drop in. They have a great beer dispenser!
They recommended I take in this place. Great live music every week, and plenty of vintage bikes hanging from the ceiling.
