We "unfortunately?" missed 99% of the closing ceremony due to being out on a hot loop down to Alabama and Mississippi and back up the Natchez Trace that day.

Any chance someone will soon be posting all of the Outstanding Rider Awards winners and stats here? Unless I have missed it somehow, I don't see a thread for it yet.

They are usually very interesting.
 
Watch for the awards summary in an upcoming Owners News. In the past, that showed up in September for the July rally. So, maybe August? :dunno

Ahh, OK, thank you for the insight. So they don't announce any of them during the closing ceremonies? That's too bad, they can be entertaining.
 
I wasn't there either so can't say. Maybe there is an update on the main MOA rally page.

They announced them at the closing ceremony, interspersed with the prize drawings. It was a nice thing to do but it contributed to the ceremony running way over the allotted time.

Q: how does a one hour ceremony become a two hour ceremony?
A: one video, announcement, or exhibition at a time.
 
Rider Awards 2019 BMWMOA

Here is the list. There will be an article in an upcoming issues of the MOA ON magazine. Yes, they were listed and announced at the closing ceremony intermittently throughout the presentation. Thanks - Karen Mans, Kansas City MO

I walked right up behind you in the Vendor building with the intention of giving you a hug, when I realized you were being interviewed & filmed :eek. After that, I lost sight of you & never got to say hello. :)
 
I missed long distance male by 104 miles and 2nd by 2 miles! If I end up going to next year's I should have it in the bag. :dance
