Hello! My first BMW is a beat up old 2002 R1150R with 100,000 miles on the clock.

I changed the oil and filter, transmission and final drive fluids and headed off for a shake down run. 500 miles later the oil still sits dead center in the site glass. What a fun bike, and a great way to explore Colorado.

Next on the list will be adjusting the valves and making some minor repairs to straighten out some old abuse and fix the non-functional turnsignals. After that who knows - the platform calls out for some customization. Gentleman's scrambler? Cafe tourer? We shall see...

Welcome to the forum!
Always good to hear from a happy owner enjoying successful maintenance.
