    iPhone mount for GS

are there any recommendations on phone mount for iPhone to use on 2007 R1200GS ? Bike has older Garmin installed but is very cumbersome to operate.
I recently moved and have a need to constantly enter new addresses, until we get familiar with new area. iPhone is so much easier to work with. I know there are several options out there but trying to see what works best in the real world. Thanks for feedback.

Have a look through the threads in the Similar Threads pane at the bottom of the screen...they seem to touch on the subject.

Perfect squeeze on a ball mount seems to be the best I've found.

I use a RetiCAM smartphone tripod mount with a 1" ball screwed into the tripod hole. Holds my phone very securely and it's fairly inexpensive.

    I also use the Quadlock.

The drawback is you must also use their case. That said I doubt if there is a better solution.

I ordered their case and simple ram ball. Not cheap, but is super simple and secure.

The ram ball allows me to use all the various Ram mounts I (and many others) have already invested in.
