In 2012 Annie and I rode up for D2D; it took us almost five weeks, round trip. In 2013 we rode up again for D2D: it took us 16 days round trip. Five weeks was more funner.

Four weeks my first trip and the Dempster, five weeks in 2019, and Prudhoe Bay.

You know your way then!
Suspect you may be planning a ride up the Cassiar this year; if so a recommendation.
It's 100mi north from Hyder, the Bell 2 Lodge... a modern wilderness resort (with RV park or camping)
This location allows the opportunity for a relaxed pace, along the remaining 300 miles until reaching the Alaskan HY near Watson Lake.
Fuel, great food, sauna and large hot outdoor spa.
You can't do any better!

I will likely go up the Cassiar and come back down the ALCAN.

I was wondering if the organizers will have decent MOA masks for sale at the rally? Maybe a MOA or Motorrad logo, with a good quality nose nipper for the many of us that wear glasses.

I have lost the bubble in the 95 page thread. Is the rally still a definite "go" for 2021, or is there still a decision to be made? If so, like last year, what is the drop dead date for the decision to be made?

I don't have any "insider" knowledge, but the MOA Executive Director did make an announcement a couple of weeks ago that the rally was still on. There will be masking, sanitizing, and social distancing requirements, but local officials had approved a plan to allow the rally. However, I would never consider any mass gathering sill four months "a definite go" during this pandemic since I don't have a crystal ball. At the moment, new cases (and deaths) are trending down all over the US, but none of the medical experts seem to be able to completely explain that, but they are worried about the impact of the new, and more contagious, virus mutations.
As for when a final go/no-go decision would be made? IIRC, last year it was the second half of May, so about a month to six weeks out, which seems to me to be as late as you could cancel without creating excessive disruption.

Excellent response to the question from R65 Steve.
That was Page 92 of the Thread on 2/8/21 where Ted passed the "Saddle Up" news.

True that. So, here's a link to a post in this thread that is a copy of Ted Moyer's message about the Great Falls Rally:
