    2016 R1200RT - Removing Front Mudguard

    Is it possible to remove the entire front mudguard without first removing the front wheel?

    Doesn't appear to. After the front wheel is slid out of the front of the rear mudguard, then you remove the two screws that hold it in place.
    May I ask why you want to remove it w/o removing the front wheel? Just curious.

    When its wet, I get road grime running down the outside of the fender extender, so want to get some sealant between my fender extender and the mudguard. I was hoping I dont need to remove the front wheel for such a simple job. Oh well, it's not the end of the world if I need to take off the front wheel first, and it's just that a sometimes crook back makes working at ground level more difficult than it once was.
