    Dealership

FWIW, apparently Sandia BMW (Albuquerque and Santa Fe)(cars, motorcycles, mini) has been sold. Deal should take affect in August timeframe. Most employees were notified yesterday.

    Ainít it grand?

I've had to stop there a couple of times while traveling and they were always good to me. I hope the new owners keep it up. Shame they closed the upstairs lounge a couple of years ago, though.

It's not closed. Waited for my bike being serviced there last Thursday

I was going to say, and least during fall 2016, I stopped there to have my 12,000 mile service done on my '16 R1200RT during a 61 day trip across the country and back, and I spent the whole day up in the lounge. During that time, the GM came up and talked to me for quite a while, and introduced me to a rider known around the region. They both took me downstairs to go over possible local routes in New Mexico I should try, and I took their advice.

At the end of the day, the service manager and tech forgot to actually charge my credit card for the service as the local guy was getting ready to leave on his bike. I didn't notice, and a month later when I was home again, an e-mail from the bookkeeper disclosed the oversight and I made good on the charges.

All of them were great guys and I was happy to have found them.
