Enjoy the ride!
In hopes of providing my wife with a more comfortable ride, I'm looking into adding a MV Verholen riser kit in order to for her to ride with a more upright position. Currently, with the forward lean of the stock seat, she sits on the forward part of the seat which slides her into the "tank" and gets uncomfortable after a long ride. Next will be new seat recommendations for a seat that doesn't lean forward, but that'll be another thread!
After researching the available risers, it seems that the only way to get enough clutch cable length is to re-route the cable to behind steering stem. As it sits now, the cable comes in from the front.
I'd appreciate any advice or info on doing this.
I understand that I will also have to extend the brake line. The MV Verholen kit comes with a 2" brake line extender. Installing that will call for a brake bleed.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Daryl
