death of my brother, a MOA member

Nathan Monk was killed Wednesday afternoon on Tx 30 near Carlos Texas. He was riding his R1200RT and attempted to make a U-turn from the shoulder heading west attempting to go east. DPS is still investigating but possibly the sun going down prevented him from seeing a Semi truck approaching from the west.

PLEASE people. Find another way to change direction. Turn off of the road and make the turn in a way that allows you to see the road clearly both ways. All it takes is one mistake to end your life.

Sorry if this is not the right forum.
