55 F at noon today at Rustic Colorado. Poudre Canyon.
We felt lucky because the forecast called for heavy rain and flash floods starting early afternoon.
We stopped at the Glen Echo store to see if we needed to wait or go.

Lee, are those gray covers over the bars on both bikes? To protect the switches/ignition?

If so, source if you could provide it sir.

I wouldn’t say no to 45F and rain :wave
Maybe not the flash floods in the canyon part though.

Debbie made those to protect the GPS mount and switches when we don't carry bike covers.
It also hides the GPS when I don't bother to remove it at night.

Before heading up the canyon and I still had cell service we looked at the radar be make sure we were not headed into some big red cells.
It was nice we were able to get wifi at Glen Echo for a 2nd look before going over the pass.
Without the phones I might have turned around near Ted's Place because the sky looked nasty.
