Looking for the pilot jet 1988 rt

Hi
I have a 1988 r100rt and it stalls out at idle. I am told to clean the pilot jet. So where is the pilot jet and how to clean it.
Thanks
Brian

If the jet is cheap (they used to be) it's worth thinking about just replacing it. It can be difficult to get baked in sediments out of pilot jets.

To be very specific - go to the link above and look at the 3rd photo. You see the two floats at the sides. Between then in the main jet with a hex head. And then also between the floats is a jet with a screw driver slot. That is it.

Pilot jet

Hi
Thanks for info. After looking at it I thought it was the idol jet. Yesterday was such a nice day in Boston that I decided to take it to Duncan at Ducans Beemers. Bike runs fine, just stalls when stopped. I keep the throttle cracked a little and it stays running. He cleaned jets and adjusted it but needs a full tuneup and carb cleaning. So will have to drop it off and have him give it a full service.
Thanks
Brian
