    Vstream windscreen r1200r question

    I recently purchased a 2014 R1200R and am considering a Vstream windscreen.
Does anyone out there use one and what is your opinion of them as in buffeting quality etc. Also am considering lowering the driver pegs any thoughts on that?
Thanks in advanced for your responses.

I have a VStream on my R1200RT and I'm very pleased with it. Much better than the stock one.
I have no idea how it performs on the R1200R.

For the RT, it puts a lot more pressure on the support brackets than the OEM shield. They need to be upgraded to stainless steel ones.

Concerning the peg lowering kit, I installed it years ago and wouldn't do without it. Much more comfortable position.

    YMMV

If you can park it, and not turn around to admire it before walking away, you bought the wrong one.

H has one on her 07 Roadster, very well built brackets. We had to lower the height as this screen was already on the bike and was way too tall, causing buffeting. After the adjustment, she has had no complaints.
Bro in law has had two R's and the Vstream was the first addition on both.

H added the Saenz edging to hers as well to redirect heavy rain down the sides

On the peg lowering, depends on seat height and your leg length. Works for some. I have taken them off two bikes I purchased as they were too low and my knees felt pointed downhill too much for my pref. What are you trying to fix?

+1 on the peg lowering. I installed a Wunderlich kit on mine shortly after I purchased it.

I find the older I get the less my knees like bending backwards.
Trying to get some relief on this issue, love the r1200r but like the ergonomics of the GS better.
Would appreciate comments on kits ie wunderlich, illium works and others folks have used .
    Thanks
