    whining noise when brakes applied

2006 R1200rt, You know the brake noise the bike makes when you first start the bike( like a pump noise), the bike makes that noise when you step on the brakes now. Is that something to do with ABS, any ideas or tips. Thanks Woody99

The sound you are hearing is normal. The 2005/2006 RT used power assist "whizzy" brakes. It is a love/hate relationship with them. Personally I like them, but it does make bleeding the brakes a real pain!

2006 still has the whizzy brakes and do make the noise most the time the brakes are applied ...are you noticing it more with engine not running?
It usually is covered by engine noise and hard to hear while riding.

Dueling at 9:21. Could it make a good country western (or rap) song? Only the brave and clever know.
