Done. Installed the Motobatt MB51814 that GTRider is using. Today 13 degrees again. Bike sat for a couple days to get good and cold for the science experiment. Fired right up, no drag. Lots of strength.

The battery connectors were U shaped brass with threaded holes. It didn't quiet match my setup where I wanted a full bolt and nut. Bent it to an L shape, drilled for my 2003 K1200GT funky battery wire. It raised the nut up a smig to allow a closed wrench to get in there. A million times better than the BMW Exide with the low bolt location.
