Fork Leg Reflectors

MOA #24991, south of Los Angeles
Does anybody know if the amber reflectors on my RT's lower fork legs can be safely taken apart & reassembled?
Meaning, can the amber plastic be carefully popped out and then popped back in?
The fiche shows it as two pieces, but that doesn't infer that they were ever intended to be taken apart...

After 14 years, mine are looking a bit dark inside, so I'd like to get that grunge out. Maybe even add a piece of white or silver reflective tape to the surface behind that plastic, to increase the reflectivity.

And in the event that I narf it up and have to buy a new one, is it only a miracle adhesive that holds them on?

Thanks!

Paul S

I removed mine using a hair dryer and moved them up to allow the Darla's to be mounted lower on the forks, very easy to do on my 2016 R1200GSW. If needed you can use double sided mounting tape to install.
