    Finally after 13 years

I finally picked a color, got some paint on it and started to reassemble. 1955 R 50 in period correct Police Green. The steel rims are painted, laced and sent out to be properly trued. I have also acquired several correct and very rare (early '55) parts that will make the long process rewarding.

    Trinkets of progress

Pin stripe done, wheels done and front shocks assembled. Ready to install the main wire harness, its more of challenge for me due to color blindness. I'll have to smoke test a few circuits.
I'm hoping to take the first test ride sometime in Feb.

You ought to enlist the aid of a three year old to tell you the color of the wires. Our three year old grandaughter is quite adept at identifying colors and anxious to display her skills.

The bike is going to look gorgeous!
