    How to remove top box mounting plate '94 K75S

    Hopefully this is an easy one. I have a Ď94 K75S with the factory top box. I know how to get the top box off the rack but I canít get the plate that it connects to apart from the rack. Is there a trick to it that I am missing?

    They are simply friction fit.

    Taken from a similar thread: "IIRC - it is supposed to be slid under the forward edge of the rack while being pressed down (so the foam under it compresses) and then the bottom edge locks into the rack."
