Any Round Heads Out There To Give Me Advice?

I've been using a Schuberth C3 Pro for several years. It's been just OK - the main issue is that it is a little narrow for my noggin. I started with a L, then went to XL, but there wasn't much difference. With the speakers in my helmet (for the Sena), the fit over and around my ears is not as comfortable as I would like. I still wear the helmet, but would like more room on the sides for my next one.

I want to stick with a modular, and price is not really an object (the Schuberth's weren't cheap, after all). I know I'll need to find a well stocked dealer and try some on, but has anyone got experience with modulars on a more round than oval head?

The Shoei Neotech2 probably wont work for you as it's also a intermediate oval like your C3 Pro.
You can check the Revzilla site to look for a helmet with a round shape.

I had both the C3 and C3 Pro. Both the C3 as well as the Pro were tight on my forehead. After modifying the padding in the forehead they were better but still not comfortable at the end of long rides. If your Schuberth felt too narrow on your head you may have a head shape that is something other than a round head.

Currently I wear an Arai Quantum X which fits my head almost perfectly. It is designed specifically for people with round heads. Neither the Arai Corsair X nor the Signet X fit my head. AsI recall one is an intermediate oval and the other a long oval.

You may want to check out webbikeworld.com and look under their helmet reviews. In that section they list different head shapes (sorted by internal shape) and list a number of helmets in each category.
