I doubt if BMW will offer an upgrade option to get access to the info you want.

You can get the next service date with a GS-911 wifi or the motoscan for BMW Android app.
It doesn’t relate to my F800GS.......Was just wondering if BMW had “come around”?

It would be a step up if the now available service tools were Apple compatible.

Yep, I never look at the Status or Last Ride information.

Looks like using a Nav will not help the OP since he has a 2015 RT.

Thanks for replies...I do not have a NAV on this bike. I'll just wait for it to "pop" up. I just changed all the fluids as unit is new to me.

Miles to service will pop up at one month or 620 miles (in my 14R1200RT manual page 166) before due at start up and continue to show miles left at each start up. I make a hard copy of the service so I can always check. Since I do my own service I have a GS911, it too tells when the next service is due but that's a lot more work then looking at a hard copy. Before leaving on an extended trip I like to know when my next service is due.

Hard to say when the service icon will pop up since you don't know when the service warning was reset.
